Washing Stinky Sports Clothes |
|
|
Kids into team sports this year? All those "sweaty" uniforms and socks making you wish you had a clothespin for your nose? How will you ever get them fresh again using the bargain brand detergent? Just add a half cup of white vinegar to your wash and all the oders will be gone and it will give your washer a thorough cleaning of any built up mineral deposits at the same time.

I like Gain laundry detergent better than anything. Cheap at Dollar General. Besides vinegar, a cup of lemon juice works too.

Instead of vinegar, you can sub baking soda in the wash. Just dump some in while the water if filling up.

Thanks you for the info. Yes I know about stinky clothes with my high school kids playing soccer.
