Many people do not realize, if your doing a major home remodel/project you can go the commercial desk at Lowes or Home Depot and set up an account as if you were your own commercial contractor. They have a couple of different options. The one I prefer to use is give them a check to open an account. They hold it and just deduct from my balance when I go to the cash register. If you don't spend it all, at your request, they return the balance and there are no service fees. I save 5-10% on each purchase. When your buying carpet, flooring, paint, and odds and ends it adds up to a great savings. I just saved $110.00 on interior paint and painting supplies, and on a couple of ceiling fans.
