Quick Apple Dessert
Ingredients
2 cans (16 to 20 ozs.) apple pie filling
1 box yellow cake mix (regular size)
1 cup chopped nuts, your choice
1 (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple, undrained
2 sticks margarine
Directions
Pour pie filling into a 9 x 13 inch baking dish. Spoon pineapple on top of pie filling. Sprinkle dry cake mix over fruit. Slice margarine and place over the cake mix. Sprinkle nuts over top. Bake at 350 degrees F for 30 to 40 minutes.
Can eat as is, or serve with ice cream.

I know it's known as dump cake, but for some reason, the word "dump" reminds me of a landfill. So a better name for the cake seemed appropriate.
