Whole Wheat Sugar Cookies
- 1 cup flour
- 3/4 cup whole wheat flour
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 1/3 cup margarine
- 1/3 cup sugar
- 1 egg or 1/4 cup Egg Beaters
- 1 tsp. vanilla
Combine first 3 ingredients; set aside. Cream margarine in a medium bowl; slowly add sugar, beating until fluffy. Add egg, beating. Stir in vanilla. Add flour mixture, stirring until blended. Chill dough. Roll dough on lightly floured surface and roll up to 1/4 inch thick; cut with cookie cutter. Place on lightly oiled cookie sheet. Bake at 375 degrees F for 8 minutes until brown. Cool on wire rack.
