Triple Chocolate Cake
This is an easy family favorite.
- 1 2-layer pkg. chocolate cake mix
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 pkg. chocolate instant pudding mix (3oz.)
- 4 eggs
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 1 cup chocolate chips
- 1 cup confectioners' sugar
- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 2 Tbsp. unsweetened baking cocoa
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1/4 cup evaporated milk
Combine first 6 ingredients in mixer bowl. Beat for 2 minutes or longer. Stir in chocolate chips. Pour into lightly greased 9x13 inch baking pan. Bake at 350 degrees F for 30-40 minutes, or until cake tests done. Cool. Combine confectioners' sugar, butter, cocoa, vanilla, and evaporated milk in bowl; beat until of spreading consistency. Spread on cooled cake.
