Olive oil! Works magic. I wouldn't trust some moshi-poshi junky store bought junk that smells like apricots.

If your hands are rough after a hard day gardening, or similar activity, pour a small pile of salt in the palm of one hand, cover with a small amount of olive oil and rub hands together well, especially the rough bits. Rinse off under warm water then put on a pair of cotton gloves. This should work for feet too.

Slather hands in petroleum jelly (Vaseline or generic), pull socks over hands, and drift off to dreamland. Waken with softer hands. (Works great for feet, too!)
