Use a plastic gloves from the dollar store, 10 pair for 1.00. Place one glove on your hand. Sweep the area with the glove. Hair will all ball up and be easy to pick up. Re uses the glove as many times as you need to. I have 5 cats, one Chihuahua. It works great!

Tip: Removing Pet Hair with Dishwashing Gloves
Need to get pet hair off of anything? Forget costly rolls of sticky tape. Use rubber dishwashing gloves. Spritz with some water, anti-static spray or fabric freshener and just wipe the fur away. Keep one in your car, suitcase and at work. They work great on both clothing and furniture.

I do the same thing. It works to get loose fur from pets too, especially if the gloves are old and a little tacky. Val (03/08/2006)
