After I hard boil eggs in water to which a little vinegar has been added, I soak them in ice cold water, and when no longer warm, place in fridge in a bowl. Hours later the fridge smells like sulphur.
Any suggestions?

A little vinegar in the water is supposed to help keep the shells from cracking.
And placing the eggs in before the water is brought to boiling seems to help as the eggs aren't being waved and shoved around quite as much by the boiling water.

I like the ziplock bag idea. It's clear and I want the eggs to be visible when my daughter decides to raid the fridge for a snack (which was originally the idea for just leaving the eggs in a bowl in the front of the fridge)!

Why do you add vinegar to water when making hard boiled eggs? i do about a dozen a week (DIET) with just plain water no odor. Just curious

Why don't you put them in a zip top bag and seal it well. You can do it when they're warm and add ice to the bag. When it melts just dump the water out and reseal the bag to keep odors out. Val
