Does anyone have any experience/advice about mosquito traps? We live by the river and I am looking at the Mosquito Deleto by Coleman. There are other brands and I would appreciate some reviews. Thanks in advance.

We bought a Mosquito Magnet Liberty in 2003. It worked great. We live across from a river, so we have a good amount of mosquitos. However, each year thereafter, the Mosquito Magnet Liberty became more difficult to start. Last year, 2007, it wouldn't start at all. We tried the purging troubleshooting and called the support line. But we can't get it to work anymore. It also had the costs of replacing the propane tank and octenol cartridges monthly.

We're looking for a new mosquito trap and can't find good reviews.

Good luck.

Have you tried the mosquito plants? They may have some at lowes or home depot.
