Mushroom Roll-Ups

Ingredients:
  • 1 loaf thin sliced bread (trimmed, the soft, squishy cheap kind)
  • 1/2 lb. fresh mushrooms (chopped)
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 3 Tbsp. flour
  • 3/4 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. Accent
  • 2 tsp. chives
  • 1 tsp. lemon juice
  • 1 cup light cream

Directions:

Roll bread slices thin and flat. Saute mushrooms in butter for 5 minutes. Stir in flour until well blended. Stir in cream, cook stirring constantly until thickened. Add salt, Accent, chives, and lemon juice. Remove from heat. Place 1-2 tsp. mixture on each slice of bread and roll up. Brush tops with melted butter and bake at 400 degrees for 10 minutes. To serve, cut each roll in half.
