first you heat up one cup of milk in a saucepan and then you add one packet of swiss miss dark chocolate powder, once done with that you add one teaspoon on cinnamon and three pieces of hersheys dark choclate, from the candy bars you can buy at a store. Yummy so good and delicious top it with whipped cream and enjoy you delicious hot cocoa.

Hi,
I add about 1/2 a mug with coco mix with boiling water. I then stir the boiling water and coco mix vigorously for 20 - 30 seconds. I then add the rest of the boiling water.

I find that getting all the coco mixed well makes for a good tasting cup of coco. I do the same with instant coffee. It's weird but even average grade coco and coffee tastes better this way. LOL

For a quick cup of easy cocoa use 1 1/2 the regular amount of Swiss Miss w/ marshmellows, and use milk instead of water. So Good!

My favorite recipe for simple homemade hot chocolate:

1/4 c. cocoa powder (unsweetened)
1/3 c. sugar
dash of salt

Mix together in a sauce pan and add:

2 c. water

Bring to a boil, then add:

1 12 oz. can evaporated milk

and heat through. Delicious!

When making hot cocoa try adding some cinnamon. It spices things up a bit!
