Ingredients
- 6 Tbsp. grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 tsp. dried thyme leaves
- 1/2 tsp. dried basil leaves (opt.)
- 1/2 tsp. dill weed (opt.)
- 1 egg white
- 1 Tbsp. water
- 2 packages. refrigerated crescent rolls
Directions
Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. In small bowl, combine cheese and thyme. Also stir in dill and basil if a heartier flavor is desired. In separate small bowl, whisk egg white and water. Separate dough into 8 rectangles; press together perforations with fingers to seal. Lightly brush rectangles with egg white mixture; sprinkle 6 of the rectangles evenly with cheese mixture. Make 2 stacks of 3 cheese-topped rectangles; top stacks with plain rectangles. Cut stacks in half both lengthwise and crosswise. Cut each quarter diagonally in half to form a total of 16 triangles; place on greased baking sheet. Bake 10 minutes or until golden brown. Serve warm.
