In Australia, I think Dry-Eraser Markers are called White Board Markers and the writing comes off with paper towelling, tissues or any similar disposable paper product and doesn't need wetting to get writing off. You can get dusters similar to chalk dusters (felt-like rectangular block), but why spend money if you don't have to.
You can get various brands of markers from supermarkets, newsagents, Officeworks, Kmart, Target, Big W, etc. Writes on white boards, glass, etc., but is indelible on clothing and porous material.
If you don't have hand sanitizer handy, a cheap bottle of isopropyl alcohol also does great at removing the set-in marks from most white boards.
Btw, you may also be able to write directly on your fridge door with a dry erase marker, but be sure to test an inconspicuous area first.
If you are having stains left on the board, you can use hand sanitizer to wipe the board clean. It is cheaper than buying the spray for the boards. When the marker is fresh, it will wipe off with a tissue. If it sets for very long, that is when you get the stains.
If any dry-erase marker isn't wiping of easily the problem is probably the board, not the marker. Maybe the surface on the white board is worn off.
You could try office supply store, drugstores, kmart, walmart just about any place really.
Just about any drugstore, grocery store, walmart, kmart, target, etc. Even Costco and Smart and Final has them, and yes you can wipe with a kleenex, papertowel, tp, your sleeve, doesn't matter, it will come off (if you are using a white board).
