Hasty Coffee Cake

• 1/4 cup butter
• 1 cup sugar
• 1 egg

Sift together:

• 1 1/2 cup sifted flour
• 3 tsp. baking powder
• 1/4 tsp. salt

Add alternately with dry ingredients 1/2 cup milk. Mix thoroughly. Spread in a well greased and floured 9 inch pan. Sprinkle over the top 1/4 tablespoon brown sugar and 3 tablespoons cinnamon. Bake in a 350 degree oven for 1 hour. Serve while warm.
