Frozen Strawberry Preserves
- 4 cups strawberries
- 4 cups sugar
- 1/2 cup water
Wash berries before stemming. Combine 2 cups sugar and 1/2 cup water; let boil until it spins a thread. Add 2 cups berries; boil up good. Then add 2 cups sugar; bring to boil. Add 2 cups berries. Let boil good for 10 minutes. Pour into crock and let stand overnight. Stir often and seal cold. Freeze.
