To fix a squeak in the refrigerator door or inside doors, use a little cooking oil on a q-tip. Works right away and no smell from cooking oil.

MINERAL OIL (or Baby Oil) works better because it never get rancid like Vegetable oil does....

There are better products to use for squeaky hinges than vegetable oil suh as silicone,WD 4 3 in 1 oil etc. Vegetable oil can turn rancid.

You can also use baby oil or mineral oil for squeaky door hinges. I am a night wanderer and for a long time I would awaken DH every time I opened the bedroom door. I smacked a little mineral oil on it and now I can go all over the house while he sleeps.

I love this idea and will use it today! I've been forgetting to ask hubby to spray one of our kitchen cabinets which squeaks so much. Thanks for the great tip!
