I have used white vinegar on my white uniforms before and it worked pretty well. You might try that.

Peroxide: Before we sold our home I had to get drips of coffee out of our carpeting. I was bummed. I didn't think I could get them out, & to make matters worse I also drank mocha so there was also chocolate in some of the drips.
But I found something that worked & worked perfectly. It was Hydrogen Peroxide. Just pour it on or even better put it into a well marked spray bottle & spray it on then work it in with a toothbrush & wait about 20 minutes while it fizzes then repeat & blot with a clean white towel or paper towel. No rinsing required.

* A note: Before using any cleaner, always check for colorfastness in an out of the way place first.

How to get coffee stains out of beige carpet?

Judi from Mechanicsville, MD

RE: Coffee Stains on Carpet

I clean at a business where they serve free coffee as a costumer service. We have a lot of coffee stains each night. Best thing I have found to work is: one third cup of white vinegar, one cup water and 3-4 drops of dish soap. Mix well pour on coffee stain brush into stain and dab up stain with old cloths or paper towels. (10/06/2008)

RE: Coffee Stains on Carpet

I use a spray called "Tuff Stuff" that I get at the Dollar store. Works great. (10/06/2008)
