I hung a patterned shower curtain which I bought at the Dollar store, just inside the shower doors. It has a pretty design and adds privacy. Best of all, it saves me from having to remove lime build up on the doors. I occasionally have to de-lime the bottom of doors, but hey, that's not a major chore. <G>

Family Handyman Magazine February 2009 ran an article that addressed this very issue. They recommended Bring-It-ON cleaner (www.BringItOnCleaner.com). I tried it and it's the only thing that's worked on the heavy lime buildup in my shower.

Try Lemi Shine. It works great and is natural.

I have glass doors for my shower...and get nasty buildup on the bottom of my doors as well.

What do you use to de-lime it?
