This worked for me. I had been suffering from nasal drip, sneezing and other various symptoms when I remembered this formula I recieved. I took a spoonful and within 30 minutes my symptoms were all gone. If you suffer from allergies to any of the ingredients, see your doctor.

Nature's Penicillin can be used effectively for the following purposes: colds, flu, sore throat, respiratory problems and a general immune system strengthener. It is simple and easy to make. Here's how to make it below.

Ingredients:

  • 1 grapefruit
  • 1 orange
  • 2 lemons (I used organic from the health store)
  • 3 cloves of garlic
  • 1/2 large onion,chopped
  • 3 drops of peppermint oil

Instructions:

Cut the fruit and onion into pieces. Place in blender or food processor with enough water so that the mixture turns in the blender/processor. You may find you will have to add more water, but just add a little at a time. Add peppermint oil last. For an adult take one cup a day and for a child, take 1/2 cup. This amount is not taken all at once but a spoonful periodically throughout the day. Pour remainder into a glass jar, cover with a lid and keep it refridgerated. When ready to use, warm in a small saucepan before serving.

Medicinal Value of each item used:

Grapefruit: High in vitamin C which is an immune system strengthener. Grapefruit is valuable and aids the body in eliminating poisons. The rind of the grapefruit is a natural source of quinine and a good source of vitamin P (bioflavonoids).

Orange: High in vitamin C and A. Also contains high amounts of potassium and a good amount of calcium and phosphorus. Known to decrease excess mucus from the head and nose. Useful in treatment of respiratory ailments, such as bronchitis, pneumonia, asthma, high blood pressure and rheumatism.

Lemon: Contains vitamin B, C, Calcium, Iron, Potassium and Phosphorous. Lemons are a natural antiseptic, helpful in destroying harmful bacteria in areas of infection. Because of its vitamin C content, it again acts as an immune system builder. Especially beneficial to the liver, an important organ of elimination. Lemon is also beneficial because it is alkaline forming in the body. Distilled water will not react in this manner.

Garlic: Contains vitamin B, C, calcium, potassium and phosphorous. Garlic is one of the most beneficial foods for the digestive system and has a positive effect on the lymph glands aiding in the elimination of toxic waste matter in the body. It is also a cleanser of the blood. It is natural and there fore very valuable in strengthening the immune system.

Onion: Contains vitamin A, Thiamine, Iron, calcium, Niacin. Onions have antiseptic qualities, helps drain mucus from the sinus cavities and loosens phlegm. They will also help destroy worms and other parasites in the body. Recommended in cases of asthma, bronchitis, pneumonia, flu and colds.

Peppermint Oil: Peppermint oil brings oxygen into the blood stream. It cleanses and strengthens the entire body
