Serves 4

I like to make this dish when I have leftover cooked chicken. It's very easy and looks elegant to serve for company! I serve with Heinz Homestyle chicken gravy, mashed potatoes and green bean casserole.

Enjoy

Chicken Squares

Love to find recipes that use chicken! Chicken is still fairly inexpensive as far as meat goes and it's nice to have lots of different ways to fix it. This is very good!

Ingredients:

  • 3 cups cooked chicken
  • 1 cup cooked rice
  • 2 cups soft bread crumbs
  • 1/3 cup celery, diced
  • 1 can pimento
  • 4 well beaten eggs
  • 2 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. poultry seasoning
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 cups chicken broth

Directions:

Mix all together, folding in beaten eggs last of all. Bake at 350 degrees F for 1 hour in a 9x13 inch pan.

Serve in squares with sauce of cream of mushroom soup and milk mixed together, heated and poured over.
