RE: Homemade Shampoo Recipes
I use about 1/4 cup of baking soda, mix with water to make a paste. Wash hair with this. Rinse with Apple Cider Vinegar. Your hair will be soft.
Put apple cider vinegar (acv) in your bathwater too.

Mix about 2Tbls. of Castile shampoo with 20oz. of water. Then you may add a few drops of essentials oil, lemon, tee-tree or chamomile if you prefer.

Actually you aren't supposed to use a whole egg, just the yolk. Beat a couple of yolks with a little water. Rub it into your hair. Add some cool to lukewarm water, not hot, don't want to cook it on your hair. Massage well and rinse out with cool to lukewarm water.
Actually works great, you only get a foam, not an actual lather.

A good homemade recipe my grandmother told me is: lemon juice, lime juice, water, flour, mayonnaise. Mix all of it together and it cleans your hair really thoroughly. 1/2 cup of water. 1/2 cup of lemon and lime juice. A tablespoon and a half of mayo. Half a cup of flour. mix it until smooth. Apply as you would a regular shampoo!

I've never had any luck with anything I've tried! I even tried the standard "wash your hair with an egg", and it was icky. Londa
