Fried Potato Skins |
|
|
Wash the potatoes before you peel, removing any scarred or spoiled spots, eyes, sprouts, & the like. Then peel the potatoes and save the skins for frying. Frying them in a little oil for about a minute will give you the same munchy tidbits that bars & restaurants charge high prices for. Season them with melted cheese, soy sauce, nutritional yeast, or an herb mixture, & serve crisp & hot.
Happy munching.

RE: Fried Potato Skins
Great advice. This tip is so useful and I hate throwing anything away, typically most people put their potato skins in the compost, since I don't do this, this is a much better idea for me. Thanks for the info.
