Substituting Yellow Squash for Zucchini
We are going to have an over abundance of yellow summer squash. I am assuming it can be substituted in any recipe calling for zucchini, is that true?

Great, thats what I thought. We've got crookneck and pattypan growing like crazy, but somehow forgot to plant zucchini. Thanks for the feedback, enjoy your summer!

I use it in place of zucchini, and another thrifty way to use yelllow squash is grate and freeze it in 1/2 cup portions. I add it to casseroles, taco meat, soups, bread, and so on. Great filler
