Easy Bundt Cake

contest winner icon
At Thanksgiving, I made a simple cake from a recipe I found on Thriftyfun. Today I tried a different version and oh-my-goodness! Delicious!

Ingredients:

  • 1 box butter cream or vanilla cake mix
  • 1 can butter cream frosting

Directions:

Make up the cake mix according to directions on the box. Add the can of butter cream frosting. Cook at 350 degrees F in a bundt pan for about 45 minutes or until inserted knife comes out clean.

This is the most simple, delicious cake EVER. Use your imagination and create based on yours and your families tastes. Next time, I'm going to try German chocolate cake mix and coconut/pecan frosting.

Thanks for this tip. I did the strawberry and German Chocolate cakes and they were both a hit!.
When I made the German Chocolate cake with Coconut-Pecan frosting, I also added 2 Tbsp. of cocoa powder and 1 tsp. vanilla to the batter. It is going to be in my "favorites to share cake file".

Did you 'flour' the pan with anything before putting batter in the pan?

I have to give this a try. It sounds like it will be very moist and yummy.
