Little advertising freebies make good little gifts. I rounded out a birthday gift bag with some dream cards I got from a drug company and gave another set to some teenagers who helped me carry my groceries up the stairs!

Some advertising freebies (like hats, t-shirts, jackets) have embroidered logos on them that can be carefully removed by hand. My Mom got some denim shirts that had advertising on them, that she didn't want to have on it. With a pair of sharp nosed scissors & a seam ripper, she made very good time on it & the logos were removed in a short time! No one ever knew where she'd gotten them from or knew that she didn't pay good money for them!
