Diesel Smell on Jeans

My son got diesel all over his jeans this afternoon. I have washed them twice but the odor is till there. Can anyone tell me what to use to ge the odor out?

Try Spic and Span or a bottle of vanilla. I volunteer for the Red Cross and people often ask how to get the smoke smell out of clothing. This is what we recommend. Good luck!

you might also want to try adding baking soda to your regular detergent and add vinagar as a fabric softner in the final rinse.

Put vinegar in the rinse water. My husband was a trucker and always splashed himself. He drove semi-tanker for years.

Try soaking in tomato juice, which is the only remedy I have ever found that would get skunk smell out of clothing.

I washed clothes that had been thru a housefire with OxyClean once and the smell came out. You might try it.
