Painting an Avonite Countertop
I've seen the many beautiful results from painting formica and cultured marble. Do these same techniques work on Avonite? It's an acrylic solid surface material similar to Corian. It's nice stuff, I just don't like the particular color/pattern in my half bath.

Yes you can. You must follow the preparation steps exactly and an adherent primer/paint is essential.
