Tip: Creamy Fruit Salad

Ingredients

  • 6 crisp apples
  • 6 oranges
  • 1 lb. seedless grapes
  • 1 large can peaches, drained, save juices
  • 1 large can pineapple, drained, save juices
  • 1 can sweetened condensed milk

Directions

Basically use the fruits you love. Core, peel, chunk apples into a large bowl. Follow with sliced orange sections over the apples to keep them from browning. Wash grapes and add the rest of the fruits to the bowl.

Pour the condensed milk into a medium bowl. Add about 1/2 of the saved juices from peaches and pineapple and stir. Pour and mix into the fruits-will be runny. Save your remaining juices. Use saran wrap to cover tightly and let sit in refrigerate at least 4 hours. The fruits will absorb the juices and will thicken.

This is when you can add more juice if you prefer it wetter or use your juices for something else.

My husband does not like fruit salads much but this is one where I need to make this at least once a month.
