To make a first aid kit for your baby's diaper bag, take a cleaned out peanut butter jar, then put your tylenol, band aids, bottle of mommy aspirin, bee sting pen, alcohol pads, etc. inside. This is quick to locate and keeps the bag neater looking.

Sure hate to 'sting' what seems like a great idea, but this one scares the bejeebers out of me! Babies have toddler pals/cousins/etc., and this is a Poison Control call in the making!!! Please invest in a small cheap tackle box WITH A LOCK for that diaper bag and put the key, where smart little kids can't get to it (or even a combination lock). These are available at Dollar Stores, Wally World, etc. Hey, how about this as a neat shower gift, folks?? Kids Tylenol is made in candy flavors to get kids to take the stuff when they are ill and cranky, and overdoses cause irreversible liver damage. Kids livers for transplant are in very short supply! Not to mention the other stuff in here this Mom mentions that's poison. I've worked E.R's., and you can NOT believe what even tiny fingers and hands are able to do (as in opening/climbing/finding things Mom/Grandma/neighbor/sitter was SURE they could not!) nor in what a short time they are capable of doing themselves heartbreaking damage. Prevention is the name of the game, Mommas!
