Apply facial moisturizer before blow drying your hair so the heat from the blow dryer doesn't dry out your skin.

Good idea. I also wear glasses, to protect my eyes from the hot air when blow drying my hair.

This is an excellent idea. I have a salon dryer which has a hood. I always try and keep my face pointed down away from the heat, or hold my hands up to block the heat. My husband says it look like I have a sunburn when I finish. This is not a problem unless we are in a hurry to go somewhere and I need to apply makeup after I get out from under the dryer. I will try this tip. Thanks for sharing.
