They love to chew on things so make sure they have chew toys. The Kong brand of toys is a good choice. They are very durable and you can pick them up almost anywhere pet toys are sold. Rawhide bones are good also, but in moderation.

Please , please do not add to the problem of there being more dogs than people who can care for them. Look at the breed rescue sights online. so many wonderful dogs are looking for homes. Some are being euthanized before the breed rescues can get them into foster homes or place them. If you love dogs help the ones that are here now.

They are the most loving and faithful of pets. When puppies what ever you give them to play with they will carry on to adult hood. Mine loved rolled up socks. Until she died socks was not safe she carred them around like a pacifier. Another one I know loves soda bottles. Give them lots of love and they return the love.
