Silk Flower Ball

Materials

  • 1 6 inch styrofoam ball
  • 25 silk flowers (note: get ones that are open so you don't need as many)
  • matching ribbon

Directions

Take styrofoam ball, pull heads off of silk flowers and glue and press into styrofoam ball. Glue silk leaves from silk flowers throughout ball. Hot glue matching ribbon so you can hang.

My sister and I made these when we were younger for our mom for mother's day. We also made them to be air fresheners. I don't remember exactly what we used, I want to say scented oil on the foam itself and few drops on the flowers themselves.

This is very pretty and sounds as if it wouldn't take much time to make. What a handy idea, especially for weddings and holidays.
