Add a little salt to your shampoo before washing your hair. It cleans and shines your hair.

When you desire to strip your hair of oils, and product buildup try adding some baking soda, and a squirt of Dawn dish soap into your shampoo. It will make your hair sqeaky clean, and will take out the dullness form using hairsprays and gels

This is a great tip for those with hard water. The salt actually softens the water which makes for better suds.
