Tuna and Macaroni Casserole

Moist, crispy top and tons of flavor!

Ingredients:

  • 1 pkg. macaroni cheese dinner
  • 1 can cream of celery soup
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 6 oz. can of tuna drained (or cut back on the milk and use this juice)
  • 1/2 red pepper, chopped (to taste, optional)
  • 1 green onion, sliced
  • 1 cup crushed potato chips

Directions:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Prepare macaroni and cheese dinner as directed then stir in all but the potato chips.

Spoon into a 2-qt casserole dish. Top with crushed chips.

Bake 30 minutes.

Tuna Macaroni Casserole

This is a great stand-by recipe that I use sometimes when I am in a bit of a hurry but want a healthy meal.

Ingredients:

  • 1 can cream of celery soup
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 can water-packed tuna, drained and flaked
  • 1 cup uncooked macaroni
  • 1 cup frozen peas
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 1 cup coarsely-shredded cheese

Directions:

Whisk soup and milk in 2 quart bowl. Add remaining ingredients; mix. Cover and refrigerate at least 12 hours or overnight. Cover with lid or vented plastic wrap. Microwave on high power for 15-17 minutes or until bubbly.

Servings: 8-12
Prep Time: 15-20 Minutes
Cooking Time: 15-17 Minutes

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup macaroni
  • 1 can tuna, drained
  • 1 can mushroom soup

Directions:

Cook macaroni until done. Stir in tuna and soup until fully blended. Sprinkle corn flakes over top and bake for 30 minutes at 350 degrees F.
