Spicy Pumpkin Pie


  • 3 cups pumpkin
  • 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • 2 1/4 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1 1/2 tsp. ginger
  • 3/4 tsp. nutmeg
  • 1 tsp. cloves
  • 5 eggs
  • Ad
  • 2 cans evaporated milk
  • 1/3 water
  • 2 (9 inch) unbaked pie shells
  • whipped topping


Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. Combine pumpkin, sugar, cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, cloves, eggs, evaporated milk, and water in mixer bowl. Beat at medium speed until well blended. Pour into unbaked pie shells. Bake for 50 minutes to 1 hour or until knife inserted 1/2 way between center and edge comes out clean. Let cool. Serve with whipped topping.
