What can I use to clean an area of my home where another dog was that may have had parvo? I want to do this to prevent my own dog from getting it.

Go to your local vet's office and ask them to sell you a small bottle of the disinfectant that they use in their kennel rooms. (07/25/2010)

Bleach is the best thing. However, you can get puppy and dog shots at the feed store, that you give yourself to your dog. I would do the shots too. (07/25/2010)
