I'm looking for a thrifty way to clean wall to wall carpeting in our apartment without going through the expense of renting or buying a steam carpet cleaner.
Look on the web for a group called Freecycle. I live in TX also and we have one. It is mainly to post things you need or want to get rid of, but you can also post and just ask to borrow someone's steam cleaner. Good Luck!
