We just got a Terrier/Bichon Frise mix and I would like to get some guidance from the people who have or had this kind of pet. Your input is very much appreciated! Thank you!

Not sure what kind of guidance you want. Take it to the vet for an exam and vaccinations, they can help you with problems specific to your dog. It might be prone to ear problems, so clean the ears regularly after bathing. Trim the nails regularly. Get the dog used to being brushed. Make sure it eats a good quality dog food. Don't let it get away with things, sometimes those breeds can be stubborn. Walk it on a leash. Get an ID tag on its collar. Use crate training to house train it if it isn't already house trained. Don't let it bite your hands, even playing.
