My son recently had a cut glued together at the hospital. They got a little glue happy and glued his hair to his scalp. How can I safely remove the excess glue?

Go back to the hospital and have them give you about three after surgery shampoo caps.

The natural oils in the scalp will cause the glue to loosen from the scalp within a couple of days. If it's still bothersome to have the hair glued together, cut out the glued part the best you can. It's temporary, and it won't matter in the eternities!!

it will come off on its own eventually.

A moist rag, over a few days. If you get it on the area they were closing, it will losen that area and you don't want that to happen, so holding a damp rag on the area you are concerned about, a little while each day, will loosen it's hold. Otherwise, it will eventually come out, as soon as he is able to wash his hair.

I've had many surgeries, so I know a lot of tricks to things like this, even though, it will wear away on its own.
Hope this helps,
Tina
