Iron Mark on a Mattress

Is there a way to remove an iron mark from a mattress (lightly scorched)?

Many moons ago, when I was still ironing (!!!!), if I scorched an item, I would wet a cloth, with straight hydrogen peroxide, lay the wet cloth on the scorched spot and iron the wet cloth...the scorched spot, would magically disappear!...
