To Kathy K. : You mixed up millipedes with centipedes. Centipedes are carnivores. Millipedes are herbivores.

Millipedes are "carnivore" bugs. This means that they're feeding on "herbivore" bugs in your house. They also like moist conditions. Presumably if you get rid of your other bugs and moisture, the millipedes will leave for better feeding grounds too.

I need to know this also! I have them in my house and they STINK when you kill them.

If I vacuum them up, my vacuum cleaner stinks everytime I turn it on.
