A great idea for grandma or teacher. Make printed thank you notes out of art work.
Approximate Time: 15 minutes
Supplies:
Paper
Ink
Rubber stamps
Scanner
Computer
Internet access
Simple design program
Instructions:
Choose colors of ink that work together; I'd limit it to two.
Choose a few rubber stamps related to each other by theme.
Give your child the rubber stamps and inkpads.
Have them create an image on the paper covering the entire surface in different directions. This will take them no time at all. Ask them to cover the paper and stamp more than once before re-inking. This will insure a bit of value difference in their composition.
Scan the dry artwork into your computer.
Design an easy "Thank You" or like saying onto the image.
Upload the design to a printing company online that offers free printing. (Vistaprint is one option)
Wait for the free cards to be delivered
Include a note of explanation to the gift receiver that your child created this image for them.
