Great any time dish!
Ingredients:
- 1-1 1/4 lb. skirt steak
- 1 bottle Italian salad dressing (8oz)
- 4 slices bacon, cut into 1 inch squares
- 1 green bell pepper, chopped
- 1 small onion, chopped
- vegetable oil
- 2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 tsp. garlic salt
- flour tortillas
Flour Tortillas:
- 4 cup flour
- 1 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 cup shortening
Directions:
Marinate steak overnight in salad dressing; drain. Cut into strips. Sprinkle steak, bacon, green pepper and onion with mixture of next 3 ingredients. Saute' in heavy skillet over high heat for 4 minutes. Spoon onto flour tortillas. Serve with shredded cheese, chopped tomatoes, taco sauce and onions for toppings.
For the Flour Tortilla:
Sift flour and salt into bowl. Cut in shortening until crumbly. Add enough warm water to make soft dough. Knead several times on lightly floured surface. Divide into 14 portions. Let rest, covered, for 20 minutes. Roll each into circle. Cook in ungreased skillet over medium heat, turning once.
