Mandarin Salad |

Ingredients
- 1/2 cup sliced almonds
- 3 Tbsp. sugar
- 1/2 head iceberg lettuce
- 1/2 head romaine lettuce
- 1 cup chopped celery
- 2 whole green onions, sliced thin
- 1 can mandarin oranges, drained (11 oz.)
Dressing:
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- dash pepper
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil
- 1-2 Tbsp. chopped parsley
- 2 Tbsp. sugar
- 2 Tbsp. vinegar
- dash Tabasco sauce
Directions
Mix all dressing ingredients together and chill. Cook almonds and sugar in small pan, stirring until almonds are coated and sugar dissolved; set aside. Mix lettuces, celery and onion in salad bowl and refrigerate. Just before serving, add almonds and oranges to lettuce. Toss with dressing. Serves 4-6
