As are we.Mom & I have Shorty ,a brown daschund given to us by the man who put our roof on . He had strayed into their yard .For some reason they didn't like him . Luckily enough we talked about dogs & I mentioned wanting a small dog for a buddy for our big dog who has since passed .He said he had one he was going to take to the shelter . I pointed at myself & said Shelter . Shorty is sleeping in a chair next to me now . Rescues are the best.
