My husband replaced the kitchen faucet. Ever since there has been low hot water pressure in my shower which is closer to the kitchen then then main bathroom. He turned all the water back on, etc. Nothing has changed, so why did this happen and how do we repair this without calling a plumber?

All of a sudden our bathroom faucet doesn't have any water pressure. The tub is fine, the toilet is fine and the kitchen sink is fine. The faucet is about 4 or 5 years old. Help
I replaced the faucet in the kitchen and now I don't have any pressure in the kitchen. It was fine before I replaced it. I don't know how to fix it.....HELP
ATT Jeff: Thanks.. this shower where the hot water pressure problem exists is a stand up shower. This problem wasnt there at all untill he replaced the kitchen faucet. That one works great. Im so tired of the trickle from the shower, its barly enough to wash my hair thourghly. When we took the shower head off there was no seditment, and we let the shower hot water run a while. No change. When I turn on the cold with the hot the pressure is great. I just want my shower to work right.. its convient.. so I use it and growl alot :) Thanks for any advice. P.S. I dont know why my post said anonymous.
If the cold water works fine and you only have low pressure on the hot side it will not be in the head or aireator. It will be debris in the pipe or in the tub valve. Working in the kitchen with the shutoffs under the sink would not cause this to happen. you will need to remove the faucet stems and then turn the water back on to flush the system of debris. be careful and good luck. jeff http://www.lockeplumbing.com
WELL.... Now he tells me! He didnt turn all the water off! Only at the kitchen faucet, the one he replaced. I told him I asked here and read the responces off. So we took the shower head off to check for sediment crud etc.. there was nothing there. He then turned the shower on and there is very low pressure from that water pipe. I wish we had left the old faucet inplace!!!
All new fixtures have a water restrictor in them. Manufacturers are required to install them now. My husband was able to remove ours very easily; now we have lots of water pressure.
