This really helps cut down on lint and pet hair on clothes! Get some "netting" at a sewing shop, I found mine in the wedding section. Cut it into 6x6 inch squares, and toss one in the washer and a fresh one in the dryer, and bingo... it catches pet hair and lint

Is the netting you used TULLE? The soft, thin netting that bridal veils are made of? If so, I'm about to jump on a YARD OF THE STUFF...I have 8 cats and a dog that sheds like there's no tomorrow!

Thanks...

When using the Nylon netting to remove pet hair in the Laundry, can you re-use the netting from load to load or do you need a new square each time in the Washer and Dryer? I sure hope this works - it would be a dream come true!

I tried this with the coarser nylon net....and it didn't work for me. I put one in the washer and a different one in the dryer, and came out with NO hair any of the times...and believe me, our pup sheds (a lot!) I tried it on several loads, and a few loads I couldn't even find the piece of net when I was finished (I just hope it isn't on the back of one of my tops next time I want to wear one, and I don't know it! yikes!) lol

When we were shopping for dryers, the salesman told us to look for a dryer with a stainless steel drum as that cuts down on the static in your laundry. (We have a golden retriever/samoyed and her hair is on everything. When we replace our dryer, it will be with one that has the ss drum.)
But I do plan on trying this hint with the nylon net. (Nylon net is the more coarse net, and the finer net is tulle for weddings and such.)

Would a shower "scrubby" work?

I use a "Magic Brush" for the larger amounts of pet hair, and "Lint Roller" for the lesser amounts, then finally, masking tape for the least. The Magic Brush is a stiff velour which works to pick up rubbing one way, then rub the other way to remove the lint/hair layer! I've recently lost mine and need to get another somehow, Lord? (He always provides for my needs and a few of my "wants") If I have any nylon netting in my sewing closet/shelves, I'll try it ! God bless you. : )
