Smoked Salmon Ball

Awesome for any occasion.


  • 1# can salmon (drained and flaked)
  • 8 oz softened cream cheese
  • 1 tsp. Lemon juice
  • 1 Tbsp. Horseradish (i use the creamy)
  • Ad
  • 1/2 cup finely chopped onion
  • 1 tsp. Liquid smoke (add more if you want a more smokey taste)


With clean hands, squish the salmon and cream cheese till thoroughly mixed, add other ingredients and mix well. Roll into a ball and roll in chopped walnuts and dry parsley flakes.

0 minutes cooking time

source: Chill one hour, serve with favorite crackers.

This has always been one of my favorite recipes for family get-togethers. Unfortunately, I misplaced the recipe and really was glad to see it posted here. I printed immediately! When I made this, I always made two; one for the family and selfishly, one for just me to munch on the next day. Thanks for sharing!

Sorry I didn't send in this recipe, but voted a thumbs up since it is one of our favorites, too. Been making it for at least 40 years. A real winner and fools people into thinking you have spent a bundle for fancy smoked salmon.
