Cooking Oil on Kitchen Units

Can anyone tell me how to remove cooking oil from kitchen units?

I find that the best products for cleaning greasy kitchen stuff are ammonia and oil soap, either one used with lots of hot water. They seem to be the best solutions for dissolving the grease.
