Getting Urine Smell Out of Gravel |
I can't get the urine out of the scoria, (crushed red gravel) in my yard. It smells all the time, especially when its really hot, or after heavy rain.

Pour straight white vinegar on it (a gallon (large bottle/jug of "it" may be too much or not enough, depends on the stink and the depth that "it" is concentrated into your soil.) PLUS "it" also will kill anything "it" comes in contact with; weeds, grass, or flowers so be extra careful...that is how it is done here in NC. The vinegar will nutralize the urine ordor & smell. The animal/s will not come back to soil on it again AS they are doing right now I am sure to "mark their territory." Keep us posted on your outcome.

A diluted solution of bleach and water works on just about everything outdoors, from grass to gravel. Hose down thoroughly after.
